Landel invented and marketed the first non-computer email
terminal in the world, called MailBug. The service began in late
1997 using early prototypes, and the first production MailBug
units shipped to customers in February 1998. MailBug has

since, especially with seniors and small business owners. MailBug takes
all the computer hassles out of using email, making email as easy to
use as a telephone
Data Service for
commercial customers -- DataBug
In response to commercial customer requests, Landel also
brought non-computer simplicity to data capture.
DataBug -- an intelligent, low cost, and
remotely configurable data terminal -- is the easiest way to securely
capture
and transmit commercial data from remote locations to central
databases.
